Sunday ,20th September
It was sunny in the morning. Su Hai , Mike ,Liu Tao and I went to the park by bike.
There was a parrot show in the park. We saw some interesting parrots.
Then,the weather became windy and cloudy. We flew kites high in the sky.
It was time for lunch. We brought some dumplings, some bread and honey and some drinks.
We saw some ants on the bread and honey. There were some bees too. We could not eat our lunch!
In the afternoon, there were black clouds in the sky. It rained. We were hungry and wet.
What a day!

2. It was sunny in the morning. (P16) 早上天气晴朗。
(1) 这是用来描写天气的过去时的句型，表示天气的形容词一般由其相对应的名词或动词变化而来。如：sun -- sunny, cloud --cloudy, wind -- windy, rain -- rainy。如：It was rainy in the morning, but now it is sunny.
(2) sunny “晴朗的”（形容词）
名词：
常用短语： 晴天

3. Su Hai, Mike, Liu Tao and I went to the park by bike.(P16) 苏海，迈克，刘涛和我骑自行车去公园。
(1) 这里went是go的过去式，go“走，去”，第三人称单数： ，现在分词： 。
去游泳______________

(2) by+交通工具名词单数，而且名词前面不能加任何修饰词，表示交通方式。如：by bike, by bus, by car , by plane , by train , by subway 等。但是，“步行”用on foot , 而不是by foot。
E.g. They go to school by subway every day . 他们每天乘地铁去上学。
对by+交通工具划线，用how来提问。
如：--The children go to school by subway every day .孩子们每天乘地铁去上学。
--How do they go to work every day? 他们每天怎样去工作？
拓展：
(1) 用“take a +交通工具”表示交通方式。如：take a bus , take a train , take a ship , 但“骑自行车”要用ride a bike 来表示。
如：He often takes a bus to work . 他常坐公交车去上班。
(2) 用某些动词短语来表示交通方式。如：walk to:步行去；drive to :开车去；ride to :骑马/车去；fly to :乘飞机去等。
go to … by bus / train = take a bus / train to ….
go to … by car = drive to …
go to … by plane = fly to …
如：My mother walked home yesterday. = _________________
He flew to Shanghai last summer holiday. = _________________
She often goes to school by bus. = _________________

(3) 用"by+水、陆、空等”来表示交通方式。如：by water : 从水路；by land :经陆路；by sea :经海路；by air:乘飞机等。
如：They went to Shanghai by air. 他们坐飞机去上海了。
They went to Shanghai by ship.他们坐船去上海了

4. We saw some interesting parrots.(P16) 我们看见了一些有趣的鹦鹉。
(1) 这里saw是see的过去式，see“看到，看见”
第三人称单数： ，现在分词 。
(2) interesting“有趣的，有意思的”（形容词）
常用短语： 非常有趣
一个有趣的书
如：This story is very interesting .

5. Then, the weather became windy and cloudy.(P16) 然后，天气变得刮风和多云。
这里became是become的过去式，译为“变得”，是系动词，用于修饰形容词，即系动词+ 形容词，另外我们学过的系动词还有be/get/look。
如：It was cloudy yesterday. 昨天多云。
You look happy. 你看起来开心。

6. We flew kites high in the sky. (P16) 我们放风筝在空中飞得很高。
这里flew是fly的过去式，fly“飞”
第三人称单数： ， 现在分词： 。
练习：用fly的适当形式填空
Look, they kites in the park.
Last Saturday, he kites in the playground.
She usually in the playground at the weekend.

7. It was time for lunch. (P17) 该是吃午饭的时候了。
这是It’s time for  …句型的过去时表达，另外表示“该…的时候了”还可以用 .
前者后面跟 ， It’s time to…后面跟 ，两者可以互换，如上述句子可以转化为 。再如：It’s time for school. 相当于 . It’s time for class. 相当于 .

8. We brought some dumplings, some bread and honey and some drinks.(P17) 我们带了一些饺子，一些面包和蜂蜜，和一些饮料。
(1) 这里brought是bring的过去式，bring “带来”，第三人称单数： ，现在分词： 。
常用短语： = 带某物给某人/给某人带来某物
如：给我们带一些水 =
注意：bring是带来，take是带走。

9. We could not eat our lunch.(P17) 我们不能吃我们的午饭。
这里could是can的过去式，后接 ，could的否定形式是： ，缩写是： 。

10. In the afternoon, there were black clouds in the sky.(P17) 在下午，空中有乌云。
cloud“云”，是 名词，但是rain/wind/snow/fog是 名词。cloud的形容词是 “多云的”。
常用短语：乌云： ，白云： ，
多云的： 。
练习：用cloud的适当形式填空

11. It rained.(P17) 天下雨了。
这里rained是rain的过去式。rain“下雨”，第三人称单数： ，

12. What a day!(P17) 多么糟糕的一天！
这是由what引导的感叹句，省略了it is，表示惊奇。what引导的感叹句句型为：
What + (a/an) +形容词+名词（+主语+谓语）！
如：What a fat cat (it is)! 多么胖的一只猫啊！
What an interesting book (it is)! 多么有趣的一本书啊！
What nice pictures (they are)! 多么漂亮的图片啊！
What bad weather (it is)! 多么糟糕的天气啊！

14. It rained all day on 20th September.(P18) 在九月20号一整天都下雨。
在具体的某一天用介词on。

拓展：时间介词in/on/at的用法。
(1) 表示时间的某一点、某一时刻或年龄等用 at。如：
We get up at seven in the morning.
We went to kindergarten at the age of 3.
(2) 泛指一般意义的上午、下午或晚上以及月或年等较长的时间，一般用 in。如：
We often do homework in the evening.
He went to America in 1997.
(3) 若表示星期几或某一特定的日期/上午/下午/晚上，则用 on。如：
He left here on the second of May. 他于 5 月 2 日离开这儿。
On a cold morning, I saw a poor girl.

知识点四：不规则动词的过去式：
