求助信是针对目前自己遇到的一些困难写信请求对方给予帮助的信件类型。一般是就自己目前的困境求助，所以以一般现在时为主；若涉及过往遭遇，则可用一般过去时。因为是向对方求助，所以言辞要诚恳，如实说出自己的困难和迫切需要帮助的境况；此外还要提前表达谢意。具体写作结构如下：
