    Play the chant f the last lessn. Let students chant tgether. (播放课件)

    复习有关描述人物的单词和介绍人物的句型,为后面的学习做准备。
    Step 2: Presentatin
    1. Lk and say.
    Shw sme pictures n the PPT: teacher, by, girl… Ask students t talk abut them by using the sentence structures: He’s/She’s ______. (出示课件)
    S1: He is a teacher.
    Teaching purpse
    教师引导学生先熟悉单词,再仔细看图,最后将人物与单词配对,巩固单词词义及书写形式。
    S2: She is a student.
    S3: He is a man.

    2. Lk and tick.
    (1) Students read the wrds three times.
    (2) Lk at the picture carefully, then tick the answers.
    3. Find Sarah’s family.

    教师引导学生听音找音素,复习三上的字母与音素的歌谣,培养学生的听音、辨音能力,活跃课堂氛围。

    Ss: /æ/.
    T: Which letter sunds /æ/?
    Ss: Letter “a”.
    T: Great! D yu remember the chant? Aa, Aa, Aa. /æ/, /æ/, /æ/. Apple, ant. Let’s chant tgether!
    (2) Review the prnunciatin f the letter “e”.
    T: Listen t me. Ten, leg, pencil. What is the same sund?
    Ss: /e/.
    T: Which letter sunds /e/?
    Ss: Letter “e”.
    T: Gd! D yu remember the chant? Ee, Ee, Ee. /e/, /e/, /e/. Elephant, egg. Let’s chant tgether!
    (3) Review the prnunciatin f the letter “i”.
    T: Bys and girls, listen t me. Big, pig, thin. What is the same sund?
    Ss: /Ι/.
    T: Which letter sunds /Ι/?
    Ss: Letter “i”.
    T: Great! D yu remember the chant? Ii, Ii, Ii. /Ι/, /Ι/, /Ι/. Ice, ice cream. Let’s chant tgether!
    2 Lk and say.

    教师根据课文插图,创设有意义的语境,激发学生兴趣,吸引学生注意力。
    Shw the picture f “Find and circle” n the PPT. Talk abut the stry with students. (课件出示:教材P35 Find and circle的图片)
    T: Lk, there is a man. He is angry and shuting.
    Help students understand the wrd “angry” by bdy languages.
    The teacher acts and says, “He is chasing a rat! Why? Can yu guess? A brief answer is OK.” Lead students t discuss and answer.
    Ss: Because the rat steals smething frm the man’s hme.
    T: Yu’re right. The rat steals the can and the man chases the rat by using the pens. Hw many pens can yu see?

    Shw the wrds n the PPT. (出示课件) Let students read the wrds ne by ne three times. Classify the wrds accrding t the prnunciatin f the letters “a”, “e” and “i”.

    Divide students int 3 grups: /æ/, /e/ and /Ι/. Let them find mre wrds with the prnunciatin.
    2 Sing a sng.
    (1) Listen and answer.
    T: Lk at the man. He is s angry with the rat. What can he d?
    Ss: Get a cat!
    T: Yes, he gets a cat. Let’s listen and answer.
    ①What clur is the cat?
    ②Where is the cat frm?
    ③Is it fat r thin?
    Students listen t the sng and answer the questins.
    (2) Sing the sng.
    Students sing the sng after the recrding. Practice in grups. Then sing tgether.
    (3) Make a new sng.
