There's n reasn peple shuld be lined up t see ne famus site when there are many places that are just as imprtant and just as impressive.
Thse strategies are already in develpment. This summer many Italian cities are trying t fcus the attentin f visitrs n utdr attractins like sprawling gardens and architectural ruins, where visitrs can remain spread ut t keep crna-virus infectin risks lw.
Flrence's Uffizi Galleries, ne f the mst visited museums in Italy, has launched the “Uffizi Diffusi” initiative which includes displaying sme f its cllectins in museums in smaller twns t help draw turists wh might therwise have spent their time in vercrwded Flrence.
Lrenz says reducing the impact f turists des nt mean the cuntry will have t hst fewer turists in the future. “In a few years we culd even have mre turists than we had befre the pandemic,” he says. “But fr that t be sustainable, they just have t be spread ut mre evenly.”

Althugh the weather is very ht nw, the carnival f ice and snw is getting clser. The preparatin wrk fr Beijing Winter Olympic Games, which are expected t begin n Feb 4, 2022, has entered its final stage. In January, 2021, the ice-making wrk n the “Ice Ribbn”, a landmark venue fr the Beijing Winter Olympics, was cmpleted.
In the Winter Olympics, where races can be wn r lst by a small time gap, tiny imperfectins in the ice can make all the difference. “It's nt just a hunk f ice like yu'd nrmally think f, like ice cubes sitting in yur freezer,” tld Kenneth Glden, a US mathematician wh studies the structures f ice. “It's a much mre fascinating and cmplex substance than peple wuld nrmally think.”
The first step fr building any ice rink is t purify the water t remve disslved slids like salts and minerals. Such impurities dn't fit in the regular hexagnal (六边形的) structure f ice that frms as water freezes. The mre pure the water is, the mre cnsistent the ice surface.
In additin t the need fr excellence in the raw materials f ice-making technlgy is als very imprtant. As ne f the mst advanced technlgies fr winter sprts venues, a carbn dixide (CO2) cling technlgy has been applied n a large scale fr the Beijing Winter Olympic Games. CO2 is nt new when it cmes t ice-making. Hwever, it has been gradually replaced by the man-made refrigerant, like Fren.
With increasing attentin tward climate change, the ld refrigerant has cme int use again. As an element f the atmsphere, CO2 desn't damage the zne layer. Althugh CO2 is a greenhuse gas, its greenhuse effect is much lwer than that f ther synthetic refrigerants. The Winter Olympics venues adpted CO2 instead f Fren as a refrigerant in ice-making, which will reduce carbn dixide emissins greatly.
“We believe these technlgical innvatins will bring Beijing 2022 t spectatrs all ver the wrld in a mre impressive way,” tld Ga B frm the Media Operatins Department f the Organizing Cmmittee f the Beijing Winter Olympic Games.
    32. What is the result f impurities in water fr ice-making?
    A. The water isn't able t freeze cmpletely.B. The quality f the ice will be affected.
    C. The ice surface will be mre cnsistent.D. It's likely fr athletes t fall n the ice.
    33. Why has CO2 cling technlgy been applied fr the Winter Olympic Games?
    A. It's the mst advanced technlgies fr ice-making.
    B. CO2 is mre efficient than ther refrigerants.
    C. CO2 is mre envirnmentally-friendly than Fren.
    D. CO2 has already existed in the atmsphere.
    34. What is Ga B's attitude t CO2 being applied t ice-making?
    A. Unclear.B. Oppsed.C. Dubtful.D. Favurable.
    35. Which f the fllwing is a suitable title fr the text?
    A. The Beijing Winter Olympic Games.B. Beneath Olympic Ice.
    C. The Use f Refrigerants in Olympic Games.D. The Structure f Ice.

N. 39 Relatinship isn’t causatin(因果关系). Successful peple wh are early risers aren’t necessarily successful as a result f waking up early. They’re successful because they’ve matched their bdy clcks t their schedules.
When yu start wrking desn’t matter. What matters is what yu get dne in the hurs between when yu stp and start wrking. Success is all abut what yu accmplish. 40
