Mre than three quarters f children aged between 8 and 15 rarely r never listen t birdsng, accrding t a new study. The natinwide survey revealed that even mre yung peple never watch the sunrise(90%), lk at cluds(79%) r smell wildflwers(83%).
Slightly mre adults take the time t enjy the natural wrld. Of thse wh respnded, 62% rarely r never listened t birdsng and 57% rarely r never watched the sunrise. Mre than 1,000 children and 2,000 adults tk part in the study.

Prfessr Miles Richardsn frm the University f Derby, wh helped analyse the results, said the survey shwed that peple wh spent mre time with nature were mre likely t help prtect animals and the envirnment.
