《LESSON 6》教学设计
The main task in this lesson is learn how to translate maths questions into English!At the same time,it aims to strengthen students’ ability of memory.
【知识目标】
(1)Be able to listen, speak, read, write words :plus,minus.
(2)Be able to understand, speak phrase:How much …?
【能力目标】
Learn about the expression of addition and subtraction
【情感态度价值观目标】
(1)Enjoy the fun of learning English.
(2)Understanding the number expression in English.

(1)Vocabulary :plus,minus.
(2)Structure :How much …?
【教学难点】
(1)The pronunciation of plus,minus.
(2)Skillfully using sentence :How much …?

Step 1:Warm-up
1.The teacher and students greet each other in English.
2.Review English words 9and 10,guide students to learn new lessons.
3.Teacher ask students Several math problems,and how to express them in English to arouse the student's curiosity.
Step 2: presentation
- Listen, look and say.
(1)Read minus,plus,zero these words accurately by listening to the tape, reading the textbook, and reading the words.
(2)The teacher explains the meaning of the words in detail according to the textbook, which is convenient for students to memorize.
- Work in pairs.
Students will be divided into a set of two people to finish a dialogue.
For example :Student A:How much is one plus one?
Student B:One plus one is two.
Student A:How much is one minus one?
Student B:One minus one is zero.
Then,every member in each group exchanges their role.
- Ask and answer.
In this part,the teacher lists a couple of math questions in English,then students should understand the corresponding Chinese meaning and calculate right results.Finally,the teacher present answers through PPT and explain the wrong topic.
- Let’s say it
One, two, put on your shoes.
Three, four, open the door.
Five ,six, pick up sticks.
Seven, eight, lock the gate.
Nine, ten, pass me the pen.
- Sum up
Up to till now,we have finished learning number 1to 10, the teacher and students summarize the teaching focus of these class together , students talk about what they have learned firstly,then the teacher make a summary.

Read the words in this lesson to your family and ask for dictation.
