    This perid is t intrduce the students t Greek literature and t help them understand the prblems that wmen had in Ancient Greece.The Greeks had wnderful stries abut the Gds and Gddesses wh were part f their religin.They believe that these Gds (r Gddesses) wuld help if they felt srry fr them r if the humans were gd peple.The Gds did nt always help thugh.They behaved like peple wh were unpredictable and capricius.T try t get the supprt f the Gds peple had t pray t them and ffer them presents.In this stry the Gddess Hera,the Greek Gddess f Lve (the wife f the chief Gd,Zeus)was srry fr Hippmenes and agreed t help him.
    Teaching Aims:
    1.Enable the students t learn and talk abut Atlanta’s stry.
    2.Learn sme useful wrds and expressins:prince,princess,amaze(amazing,amazed),flish,prmise,glden,etc.
    3.Learn sme sentence patterns:
    (1)I will nly be married t a man wh can run faster than me.
    (2)It was s tall that I had t lk up t the sky t see it.
    (3)There was a man called Hippmenes wh was amazed when he heard f Atlanta’s rules.
