    S2:My favurite singer is Zhu Huajian,a well-knwn pp singer wh was brn in Hng Kng.As a high schl student,he tk interest in music and nce tk part in a singing cmpetitin held by lcal radi statin and wn the first prize.As the age f 19,he went t Taiwan Prvince and studied there.The next year,he went t sing in a restaurant,where he sang fr fur years.One day,when he was singing in a restaurant,the manager f a recrd cmpany was greatly impressed by his perfrmance.S he was invited t jin the cmpany.He has been famus since then.

    T:Very gd.S pay attentin t the tw sentences.In the attributive clause,when the prepsitin is put befre the relative clause,usually nly tw relative prnuns are used “which” and “whm”.We never use “that”.Lk at the fllwing sentences,then tell me their structures.

    2.China has hundreds f islands,f which the largest is Taiwan.

    T:In the first sentence,the prepsitin “in” is put befre the relative prnun “which”.“In which” means “in the speech”.Wh can tell me the structures f the ther three sentences?
    S1:In the secnd sentence,the prepsitin “f” is put befre the relative prnun “which”,“f which ” means “f the islands”.
    S2:In the third sentence,the prepsitin “f” is put befre the relative prnun “which”,“the cver f which ” means “the cver f the bk”.
    S3:In the furth sentence,the prepsitin “t” is put befre the relative prnun “whm”,“t whm” means “he culd turn t anyne fr help”.
