Section A
1. I saw quite a lot. 我看见了很多（奶牛）。
quite是副词，意为“相当；完全”，修饰动词、形容词或副词。常用于quite a lot (of...)许多；quite good/ well相当好等。
例：She felt quite excited when she saw her favorite singer. 当她看到她最喜欢的歌手时，她感觉相当兴奋。
例：She reads French quite well, but doesn't speak it. 她法语的阅读能力相当强，但不会讲。
2. But I milked a cow. 但是我给一头奶牛挤奶了。
milk既可以作动词也可以作名词。在这里是动词，意为“挤奶”。作名词时是不可数名词，意为“牛奶”。
例：If someone milks a cow, they get milk from it. 如果某些人给一头奶牛挤奶，那么他们会得到牛奶。
3.Did you learn anything?你学到什么东西了吗？/你学到了什么？
anything是不定代词，表示“任何东西，任何事物”，常用于否定句、疑问句中。
(1)作主语时，谓语用单数，对应的代词也用单数(it).
例：Anything is better than nothing,isn’t it?有点儿总比什么都没有要好，不是吗？
(2)当形容词修饰不定代词something anything时，形容词应后置。
例：Did you hear anything interesting there? 你在那儿听到了什么有趣的事吗？
4.Did you grow any apples?你种苹果了吗？
grow此处作及物动词，意为“种植；栽培”，过去式grew。
例：We grow flowers and vegetables in our garden.我们在花园里种植鲜花和蔬菜。
5.The farmer showed Carl around the farm.那个农民带领卡尔参观了那个农场。
1).show sb.around…意为“带领某人参观……”。
例：Could you show me around the factory?你能带我参观这家工厂吗？
2).show sb.sth.或show sth.to sb“给……看；出示，显示”。
例：The girl shows me her photos.=The girl shows her photos to me.小女孩让我看了看她的照片。
6.Carl learned a lot about farming.卡尔学会了许多有关种田的知识。
1).learn…about…意为“学习/知道/了解……”。
例：I learned a lot about learning English.我学会了许多有关学英语的知识。
2).farming名词，“农事；耕作”，其动词为farm，“耕种；干农活”。
例：It is still too cold for farming.气候还是太冷，不适合农耕。
3).farm名词，“农场”；farmer名词，“农民；农场主”。
例：The farmer is working on the farm.那农民正在农场里劳动。

1).pick v. 采摘。
例：I usually pick strawberries on the farm.我经常在那农场上摘草莓。
2).pick up意为“捡起；拾起”
例：Please pick up the pen on the floor.请捡起地上的铅笔。

so much意为“如此多；这么多”，一般用于修饰不可数名词或动词。

1).本句为一个含有宾语从句（it would rain）的主从复合句。主句(we worried)中worried为worry的过去式，从句中would为will的过去式。在含有宾语从句的主从复合句中，如果主句的时态为一般过去时态，从句要用相应的过去时态。
例：He told me he was reading a book at that time.他告诉我那时他正在读书。
2).worry此处作及物动词，意为“担心，担忧”，后面常接宾语从句。
例：The teacher worried that these problems might be too hard for her students.这位老师担心这些问题可能对她的学生来说太难。
10.,and the sun came out again!太阳又出来了。
come out还可意为“（花儿）开放，（种子）发芽，（书）出版”。
例：The flowers come out in spring.花儿在春天开。
例：His new book came out in2017.他的新书于2017年出版了。

1. exciting 使人兴奋的，令人激动的，常用于修饰物，表示事物的性质特征。
excited 感到兴奋的，常修饰人，表示人的主观感受。
例：Everyone was excited when they heard the exciting news.当听到这个令人兴奋的消息时，大家都激动不已。
2.Today I went on a school trip.今天我参加学校旅游了。
go on a trip表示“去旅行”，相当于have a trip。go on a trip to…表示“到……去旅行”。
例：He went on a trip to Shanghai last year.去年他去上海旅行了。
3.Then the guide taught us how to make a model robot.然后导游教我们如何做一个机器人模型。
how to make a model robot为“疑问词+动词不定式”结构。在此结构中，疑问词包括疑问代词what，which，who，和疑问副词when，where，how。
例：I don’t know what to do next.我不知道接下来该做些什么。
例：The difficulty is how to finish the work on time.困难是如何按时完成工作。
4.All in all,it was an exciting day.总之，这是激动人心的一天。
all in all意为“总的来说；总之，”，相当于In a word，常用于句首，用来对所阐述的内容进行概括性总结及归纳。
例：All in all,the movie was quite good.总的来说，这部电影还是相当不错的。
5.Everything was about robots and I’m not interested in that.一切都是关于机器人的，我对那方面不感兴趣。
1).everything为不定代词，意为“所有事物；一切”，作主语时，谓语动词用单数。例如：I hope everything goes well.我希望一切顺利。
2).be interested in 对......感兴趣。
例：I’m interested in English.我对英语感兴趣。
例：He is interested in playing football.他对踢足球感兴趣。
6.The rooms were really dark and it was difficult to take photos,so I didn’t take any.房间真的很暗，很难拍照，因为我没有拍。
1).dark形容词，“黑暗的；昏暗的”，反义词bright，“光明的”。
例：It’s dark here,please turn on the light.这里很黑暗，请打开灯。
2).dark 还可作名词，“黑暗，暗处”
例：He is walking in the dark 他在黑暗中行走。
3).原句中包含It is + adj. (+ for sb.) + to do sth. 这一常用结构，意为“（对某人来说）做……是……的”。它是用形式主语it代替动词不定式短语作主语的用法，因为不定式短语作主语时，往往会有主语过长的问题，故用it作形式主语，置于句首，而将真正的主语即不定式短语移到句尾。适用于此结构的形容词常常是形容事物的，如important，interesting，difficult，hard，easy等。
例：It’s important for us to learn English well. 学好英语对我们来说是重要的。
7.I didn’t like the trip at all.我一点儿都不喜欢这次行程。
not…at all意为“根本不，完全不，一点儿也不，丝毫也不”。表示强烈否定意味。
例：I don’t like eating meat at all.我一点儿都不喜欢吃肉。
