    Section A(3a—4c) 第2课时
    设计说明
    本课时重点学习康健在美国购物经历的短文和一般现在时的被动语态。教学时通过一段有关中国制造的录像导入新课;然后采用读前预测,细读与读后输出的方法,引导学生逐步理解课文;在单元语法教学中先让学生通过找课文中的被动语态的句子感知和体验被动句,然后归纳总结,最后通过练习加以巩固。
    教学目标
    通过本课时的学习,让学生达成以下目标:
    1. 知识目标:
    (1)单词:product, France, local, avoid, handbag, mobile, everyday, boss, Germany, surface, material, traffic, postman, cap, glove
    (2)短语:no matter
    (3)句子:①No matter what you may buy, you might think those products were made in those countries.
    ②He found it interesting that so many products in the local shops were made in China.
    2. 能力目标:
    (1)阅读并了解康健在美国的经历;
    (2)能够学会使用一般现在时的被动语态。
    3. 情感目标:
    培养学生的民族自豪感及爱国主义情怀。

    1. 重点:(1)让学生掌握本课时的重点单词和短语并能熟练运用;
    (2)让学生掌握询问物品的制作材料、生产地点、制作过程等句型;
    (3)让学生熟练掌握一般现在时的被动语态的用法。

    Step 1 Lead-in
    Play a short video for the students. Get the students to talk about the following questions.
    1. What can you see in the video?
    2. How do you feel about it?
    The answers are:
    1. Many products are made in China.
    2. Proud. / Happy. / Pleased. /…
    Step 2 Reading
    Pre-reading
    Look at the passage in 3a. Then answer the following questions.
    1. Where is the tourist?
    2. Does he want to buy Chinese products or American products?
    3. Is it easy for him to buy American products?
    Check the answers one by one.
    The answers are:
    1. In the US.
    2. American products.
    3. No, it isn’t.

    Task 1
    Listen and read, then answer the questions.

Even American flags are made in China!” Kang Jian thinks it’s great that China is so good at making these everyday things. However, he hopes that in the future China will also get better at __________________________ that people can buy in all parts of the world.

    一般现在时的被动语态
    1. 主动语态和被动语态
    主动语态:主语是动作的执行者。
    被动语态:主语是动作的承受者。
    主动语态:Mr. Gao cleans the house every day.
    (主语 Mr. Gao是动作clean的执行者)
    被动语态:The house is cleaned by Mr. Gao every day.
    (主语 the house是动作clean的承受者)
    2. 一般现在时的被动语态
    构成:助动词am/is/are +及物动词的过去分词
    用法:当说话者不知道动作的执行者,或者没有必要指出动作的执行者,或者只需强调动作的承受者时,可以用被动语态。
    I am often praised by my teacher.
    English is spoken in many countries.
    Such books are written for middle school students.

    3. 主动句变为被动句
    (1)主动句中的宾语变为被动句中的主语;
    (2)主动句中的谓语变为“ am/is/are+及物动词的过去分词”;
    (3)主动句中的主语在被动句中变为介词by的宾语。
    主动句: My mother cooks delicious noodles.
    主语 谓语 宾语

    被动句:Delicious noodles are cooked by my mother.
    Step 4 Work on 4a
    Complete the sentences with the correct forms of the verbs in brackets.

    Step 7 Language points
    1. No matter what you may buy, you might think those products were made in those countries. 无论你可能买什么,你也许认为那些产品就是那些国家制造的。
    no matter意为“无论;不论”,与what, who, when, where, how等疑问词连用,引导让步状语从句。在从句中,常用一般现在时表示将来,从句可放在主句前或主句后。
    No matter what you say, I won’t believe you. 无论你说什么,我都不会相信你。
    【拓展】“no matter+疑问词”结构相当于“疑问词-ever”。
    no matter how=however无论怎样
    no matter when=whenever无论何时
    no matter where=wherever无论哪里
    no matter what=whatever无论什么
    2. He found it interesting that so many products in the local shops were made in China. 他发现了一个有趣的现象,在当地的商店里,很多产品是中国制造的。
    “find it +形容词+that从句”意为“发现……是……的”,其中it是形式宾语,that引导的从句是真正的宾语,形容词作宾语补足语。
    I find it strange that she doesn’t want to go. 她居然不想去,我觉得奇怪。
    3. He realized that Americans can hardly avoid buying products made in China. 他意识到美国人几乎无法避免购买中国制造的产品。
    avoid doing sth. 意为“避免做某事”。
    Be careful to avoid breaking the glass. 当心以免打破那个玻璃杯。
