教学过程

Step 1 Warming up.

1. Greeting.
2. Sing the song: Row, row, row your boat.
3. Review.

Review the words and phrase.

Step 2 Presentation.

1. Lead in.

Teacher shows some photos, and says: There are some nice photos.Let’s have a look.Look at the pictures about cat, dog, panda, and horse.

Students look and say.

A cat.

There is a cat.

There is a cat in this photo.

The same way to the word: dog, panda and horse.

2. Let’s learn.

(1)  Enjoy the pictures and try to answer the questions: How many photos are there ?

(2)  There are some nice photos. Let’s have a look.

Answer these questions and learn the words: horse, sheep, vegetables and climb.

What’s in photo 1?

What’s in photo 2?

What’s in photo 3?

Lead the students say the sentences: There is …in photo 1…(板书There is a horse in this photo. There is a sheep in this photo.…)

(3)  Learn the sentences :There is a girl in this photo.She is riding a horse.

Enjoy the video, and sing the chant.

Look at the photo.

There is a horse.

And there is a girl.

She is riding the horse.

(4)Look at the book , listen and read the text.

教学反思

本节课选自新标准英语三年级起点第七模块的第一单元，本课的教学重点是让学生学会用“There is...”或“There are...”来描述一幅图或照片上有什么。

这节课我设计了很多的活动让孩子们用“There is...”或者“There are...”的句式来描述，孩子们就很好地学会了如何说以及如何用，孩子们在老师的指导下，大胆的表达，自然的交流，真诚的合作，课堂氛围非常活跃，师生和谐、融洽，让每一个学生都得到了发展。
