| 1.Look and say (1) Ask students to look at the plan of the Lis’ new flat and answer the questions: a) How many rooms are there in their new flat? b) How many bedrooms are there? c) Whose bedroom is the biggest? d) Whose bedroom is the smallest? e) How many bathrooms are there in their flat? (2) Ask students to look at the plans of the Lis’ new flat and their old flat, then tell the differences between them. (3) Ask students to look at the map of Garden City and find the Lis’ new flat and old flat on the map. 2. Look, read and write (1) Ask students to find out the differences between the Lis’ new flat and old flat, then complete the sentences. (2) Ask students to complete some sentences according to the map of Garden City. 3. Write (1) Ask students to read the dialogue on page 39 after the tape recording. (2) Ask students to complete sentences according to the picture of Ben’s bedroom. (3) Ask students to read the sentences after the tape recording. (4) Ask students to look at the picture and tell about Ben’s bedroom in their own words.
