    能准确运用本课句型进行日常交际。

    Step 1 Warm-up&Revision

     

    通过游戏复习上节课颜色单词,营造轻松学习氛围。

     

     

    从复习Good morning自然导入到Good afternoon的学习,知识衔接紧密。

           Play a game — Turn turn turn.

    转盘游戏复习颜色单词和句型。Show a big turntable on the PPT. (出示课件)Ask a student to come to the front and turn the turntable. If the pointer points to the words about colours, the student should practice the words with the sentence structure I see ....

           Greetings

    创设情境问好。Create a situation of going to school to sayGood morning.to each other.

    T: (Point to Mr Jones.) Look, this is Mr Jones. (Point to Miss Green.) This is ...

    Ss: This is Miss Green.

    T: You are great! How do they greet in the morning?

    Ss: Good morning, Miss Green.

    Ss: Good morning, Mr Jones.

    创设情境学习Good afternoonShow three pictures about afternoon one by one.Teach students the pronunciation and the meaning of the word “afternoon”. Let students follow the teacher and practice it several times.

    T: Look at the clock. What time is it?(课件呈现第一张图片)

    Ss: ...(Students can answer in Chinese.)

    T: Is it morning now?

    Ss: No!

    T: It’s afternoon now! Look! The sun is running down.(课件呈现第二张图片) Afternoon means from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

    T: How do they greet in the morning?(课件呈现第三张图片)

    Ss: ...Good afternoon!

    T: Very good.

           Presentation.(对话学习)

    Lets talk

    (1)教师展示Let's talk部分图片,引导学生仔细观察图片,回答问题。 Show the picture of“Let’s talk”on the PPT.(课件出示:教材P17 Let’s talk板块的图片)Lead students to observe the picture and predict the main idea of the dialogue.

    T: Look at the picture carefully. What time is it? Is it in the morning?

    Ss: 16:15. No! Its afternoon.(Students can answer in Chinese.)

    T: Who are they? Who is the woman?

    Ss: Mike, Wu Binbin and a woman.

    T: Let’s watch and answer the questions.

    (2)看视频回答问题。Play the video of Lets talk. Answer the questions.

    T: Who is the woman?

    Ss: She is Mikes mum.

    T: What are they doing?

    Ss: They are greeting./Mike is introducing his friends Wu Binbin to his mum.(Students can answer in Chinese.)

    T: Yes, lets go to school. (衔接导入下半部分对话学习)

    (3)教授重点句型。Good afternoon.”“Nice to meet you.”“Nice to meet you, too.

    T: How does Mike introduce Wu Binbin?

    Ss: “Hi, Mum. This is Wu Binbin.”

    T: How do they greet each other in the afternoon? Who can have a try?…

    Ss: Good afternoon.

    T: Yes.Mike’s mum says: “Good afternoon, Wu Binbin.”

    T: How does Wu Binbin greet Mike’s mum?

    Ss: “Good afternoon. Nice to meet you.”

    T: How does Mike’s mum answer Wu Binbin?

    Ss: “Nice to meet you, too.”

    Write down the sentencesNice to meet you.” “Nice to meet you, too.” on the blackboard. Let students follow the teacher and practice it with their partners.

    T: Boys and girls, Nice to meet you.

    Ss: Nice to meet you, too., Miss/Mr…

      (4)看视频跟读对话。

    a. Let students read after the recording and pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation.

    b. Let students read the dialogue by themselves.

    c. Let students practice the dialogue in groups and wear the headdresses to act out the dialogue in class.

           Practice.

    1. Complete the dialogue

    看图完成对话。

    T: Mr Jones and Miss Green are greeting. What do they say?

    Ss:Nice to meet you.

    Ss:Nice to meet you,too.

    T: Miss White is introducing Zoom/Sarah/John to Miss Green. What do they say?

    2. Lets play

    开火车形式操练句型。Lets take a train and say the sentencesHello/Hi/Good morning/afternoon. Im ... This is…Nice to meet you.” to introduce you and your classmates. For example:

    S1:Hello/Hi/Good morning/afternoon. I'm S1. This is S2.

    S2:Hello/Hi/Good morning/afternoon. I'm S2. Nice to meet you.This is S3.

    S3:Hello/Hi/Good morning/afternoon. I'm S3. Nice to meet you, too. This is S4.

    Step 3 Consolidation&Extension

     

    通过手偶活动来让学生创编对话并分角色表演,以此激发学生的学习兴趣,并巩固核心句型。

     

    Let’s play.

    (1) Make a new dialogue.

    Show the hand puppets of Zoom and Zip. Let students imitate the dialogue of “Let’s play” and make their own dialogues.

    For example:

    S1: Good afternoon, S2. This is Zoom.

    S2: Hello, Zoom! This is Zip. Nice to meet you.

    S1: Nice to meet you, too.

    (2) Ask students to show their dialogues on the podium.
