一、知识点详解
Section A
1. —How do you get to school? 你是怎样到校的?
—I walk / I ride my bike. / I take the train我步行 / 我骑车。
1).how意为“如何”，常用于对“做某事”的方式提问。
2).take在这里是“乘坐（交通工具）”的意思。
例：take the subway乘地铁
take the bus乘公共汽车
3). “交通方式”的多种表达
(1)英语中常用"How do／does sb....?"对交通方式提问。例如：
How do you get to school? 你怎样去学校?
(2)表示交通方式可以用动词take (意为“乘……”)或ride / drive与交通工具一起构成动词短语，在句子中充当谓语。
例：take the train／subway／bus／ship／plane坐火车／地铁／公共汽车／船／飞机，
例：ride a bike／horse骑自行车／骑马；
例：drive a car 开车
(3)表示交通方式还可以由介词“by十交通工具”或“on/in(a)+交通工具来表示。
例：by ship=in a ship乘船
by bike=on a bike骑自行车
by train=on train乘火车
by car=in a car乘汽车
4).get to“到达”，后跟地点名词。
例：get to the library
若get to 后的地点是副词，则省to。
例：get home get there get here
2.How long does it take you to get to school?
1).It + takes sb + some time + to do sth 表示做某事花了某人多少时间。
例：It takes me half a day to do my homework every day.我每天做作业花了半天时间.
2).how long意为“ 多久；多长时间” ，用来询问时间的长短。
例：—How long does it take to get to the library?
—Half an hour by bike.
【拓展】how long 还可表示“ 多长” ，用来询问物品的长度。
例：— How long is this river?
— It’s about 150 kilometers.
3.How far is it from your home to school?
how far意为“多远”，用来询问距离，常用“数词+kilometers/miles”或“ 时间段的所有格形式+drive/ride”等来回答。
例：—How far is your home from the train station?
—About fifteen minutes’ drive.
4. The bus ride usually takes about 25 minutes. 公共汽车路程通常需要25分钟。
1).ride为名词，意为“乘车，乘坐，骑马”。
例：It’s five minutes’ ride from here to the factory. 从这儿乘车去工厂要五分钟。
2).ride可用作动词，意思为“骑(车、马)，乘车”。
例：She learned to ride when she was seven. 她7岁时学会了骑马。

1.think of 认为
例：What does Bob think of the trip?鲍勃认为旅行怎么样？
【拓展】 What do/does sb. think of …? (= How do/does sb. like…?)某人觉得……怎么样？
例：How does Bob like the trip?
2.For many students,it is easy to get to school.
It is +形容词+（for sb.）+to do sth.句型意为“（对某人来说）做某事是……的。”其中，代词it是形式主语，没有实际意义；动词不定式to do sth.是真正的主语。
例：It’s easy for him to do the exercise.他做这个练习很容易。
3. There is no bridge and the river runs too quickly for boats.
1).no adj. 没有 既可以修饰可数名词，也可以修饰不可数名词。
修饰单数可数名词时，no相当于not a(n),但在语气上no要比not a(n)强；修饰可数名词复数或不可数名词时，no相当于not any.
例：There is no pen on the desk.=There isn’t a pen on the desk.
例：I have no brothers.=I don’t have any brothers.
2) run 在这里表示“液体流动”。它在不同的语境中有不同的用法和含义。
例：Who runs the business? 生意是谁经营的?
例：John run a car into a park. 约翰把车开进了公园。
3). there be侧重于客观存在的“有”，强调存在的状态。在there be结构中，主语应放在be动词之后，并且be动词的形式应与主语保持一致。
例：There are many apples on the tree.
【拓展】have侧重于主观方面，强调“所属” 关系，表示“拥有，占有，具有”。在这一结构中，have与主语保持人称和数的一致。
例：She has a nice schoolbag.
4.One 11-year-old boy, Liangliang, crosses the river every school day.一个11岁的男孩—亮亮，每天过河上学 。
11-year-old 是一个复合形容词，意为“11岁的”。由“数词+连字符+名词（+连字符+形容词）”构成的复合形容词，有以下特点：一是构成复合形容词的各词之间要用连字符连接；二是数词后的名词用单数形式；三是只能作定语，不可作表语。
例：I have a two-month holiday.
例：She is an 8-year-old girl.
5.But he is not afraid because he loves school.
afraid adj. 害怕
1).be afraid of sth. 害怕某事/某物
例：Most of the girls are afraid of snakes.
2).be afraid to do sth. 害怕做某事；不敢做某事
例：He is afraid to cross the river on a ropeway.
3).be afraid of doing sth. 害怕做某事 指担心或担忧做某事会引起某种后果。
例：Don’t be afraid of making mistakes.
6.He’s like a father to me.
like 在这里作介词，而不是动词，意为“像”。后可接名词或代词作宾语。be like 意为“像”，多指在性格、品质方面像，也可指外貌上像；look like 意为“看起来像”，指外观或外貌上像。
例：He is like a brother to me.
7.Many of the students and villagers never leave the village.
1).many of… …中的许多 of后接代词的宾格、可数名词复数。接名词时，这个名词前通常有形容词性物主代词、名词所有格或定冠词等修饰，它表示一种部分与整体的关系。
例：Many of us like the film.
例：Many of my friends are afraid to go out at night.
2).leave v. 离开(某地)
leave for+地点 动身去某地
leave +地点+for+地点 离开某地去某地
例：Alice is leaving for London tomorrow.
例：Why are you leaving Beijing for Shanghai?
8.Can their dream come true?
come true实现；成为现实
其主语常为梦想（dream）、愿望（wish）或目标等。其后不能跟宾语。
例：Study hard, and your dream will come true.
