It was a terrible day fr Mr and Mrs Lin. The ld cuple was n hliday at a muntain resrt. They were taking a walk in the early afternn, when suddenly the grund started t shake. In just tw minutes, everything changed cmpletely! They were in the middle f a very strng earthquake!

The Lins tried t find sme ther peple first. One by ne, they fund 23 ther peple. Many were turists, yung and ld. Sn it was dark and it started t rain heavily. Sme cried and sme lst hpe.
At that mment, Mr Lin decided t take the lead. He called fr everyne’s attentin and said, “The rads are t dangerus. We can’t g dwn the muntain until tmrrw. We must stay here tnight.” Then Mr Lin and a few yung men went back t the ruins t lk fr fd and blankets. They fund sme, but nt enugh fr everyne. The yung peple gave theirs t the lder nes.
After that, Mr Lin divided the peple int five grups. Each grup had a leader. He als cllected all the mbile phnes and made sure each grup had ne. They used them as flashlights. Every 30 minutes, the grup leaders flashed their mbile phnes, and the light in the dark rainy night made everyne feel safe.
Early the next mrning, the grups started t g dwn the muntain. It was a difficult jurney, but the grup members encuraged and supprted each ther.
After twelve hurs’ walking, they finally gt ut safely. By then, it was 30 hurs after the earthquake. Everyne was tired but they felt lucky because they were part f a special team. This special team gave them hpe fr life.
