Unit 12 What did you do last weekend? (单元标题)
根据《初中英语新课程标准》要求,在初中阶段英语的教学中,要着力培养学生们听说读写能力,这四项能力中的前三项(听、说、读)在课堂教学中都训练的比较多,无论是读单词、听力训练还是各种结对活动亦或小组活动,都在反复进行听、说、读,可以说叫做“训练有素”。唯有写作,作为一种综合性的考察,是学生们的老大难问题。一是写作时时态傻傻分不清楚,二是主谓没有体现一致,三是短语不会用、单词不会写,这些都导致学生们在写作过程中无从下笔、无话可说、漏洞百出。其实,书面表达也不是“无章可循”,我们的每个单元都是围绕话题展开的,书面表达的各种句式也就隐藏在课本的各个角落,接下来,我结合教学实际讲一讲书面表达如何突破。以人教版新目标英语七年级下册第十二单元为例:
人教版英语七年级下册第十二单元,这个单元的标题是What did you do last weekend ?从标题可以看出,这个单元的话题是围绕“上周末所做的事情”而展开的。既然是谈论上周末所做的事,这个事情就已经过去,所以要特别注意时态应该用一般过去时。因此,学完这个单元后要进行的书面表达也会与这个知识有关。我们先以课本为主线,从教材安排的语言知识入手,积累写作素材。
本单元课本的第一页,在1a部分,介绍了一些动词过去式短语:
1、did my homework 做了我的家庭作业
2、went to the cinema 去了电影院
3、went boating 去划船 4、camped by the lake 在湖边野营
4、went to the beach 去了沙滩
6、played badminton 打了羽毛球
结合这一页和下一页的听力以及对话,可以积累这样一些写作素材(表示已经做过某事):
1、On Saturday morning , I played badminton.(在星期六早上,我打了羽毛球。)
2、I studied for the English test.(我为英语考试而学习了。)
3、I told the visitors about the butterflies and their living habits.(我给游客们讲述了关于蝴蝶和它们的生活习性。)
4、I stayed up late to watch the soccer game.(我熬夜观看了足球比赛。)
5、The weather was beautiful , so I went to the beach with my parents.(天气很好,所以我和父母一起去了沙滩。)
6、A family of mice were in the kitchen on Saturday morning when they saw a big cat.(星期六早上,当一家子的老鼠看到一只大猫的时候,它们正在厨房。)
注意:这些句子都是一般过去时态的句子,有些句子是用be动词,有些句子用的实义动词的过去式。(区别:当句子有动词的时候,表示过去,用动词过去式;当句子没有实义动词时,表示过去,用be动词的过去式was 或者were,其中was是am\is的过去式,were是are的过去式。)
另外,在课本的Section B 部分,也有一些动词过去式短语,需要掌握,它们是:
1、Sang and played the guitar 2、studied for a test
3、had dinner with friends 4、went to the library
5、flew a kite 6、swam in a swimming pool
另外,在阅读和后面的写作部分也有一些在写作过程中出现频率比较高的句子,我们要掌握他们:
1、Last weekend was interesting but scary.(上周末很有趣却也很可怕。)
2、We went camping in a small village in India.(我们去印度的一个小村庄野营了。)
3、On the first night, we just sat under the moon and told each
other stories.(在第一天晚上,我们只是坐在月亮底下,彼此讲故事。)
4、But I was so tired that I went to sleep early.(但是,我太累了以至于早早的睡觉了。)
5、When we looked out of the tent , I saw a big snake sleeping near the fire.(当我们往帐篷外面看的时候,我看见一条大蛇睡在火堆附近。)
6、 I was so scared that I couldn't move. (我是如此的害怕以至于都不能动弹。)

解题思路:
第一步,根据提示信息,确定人称和时态。(第一人称,一般现在时、一般过去时)
第二步,根据提示,写出每句话的关键词。
1、last weekend , busy weekend

4、on Saturday afternoon , went to the library , read a book about history
