Ss can listen and speak ut the new wrds.
Ss can describe peple with adjectives(quiet,thin,etc).

the usage f the sentence ,her and his.
Teaching prcedures:
Step1:Warm-up/Review.(2-3minutes)
Daily greetings and revisin.(1-2minutes)
Ask a student t shw her study articles and say: ”I have…”, ther students flw her ”Me either.”.
Shw a picture abut tw rulers (review the wrds: shrt lng).Then ask the students t repeat.
3.Shw a picture abut tw famus peple (review the wrds: tall ,shrt). Then ask the students t repeat.
4.Shw a picture abut tw cakes (review the wrds: big small).

Step2: Presentatin.(15-25minutes)
Guessing Game:
T: I have a new friend. She is thin.( Teach the wrd: thin)
T: She is shrt and thin. ( Teach the phrase: shrt and thin)
T: She has lng hair. (Teach the phrase: lng hair)
Can yu guess wh she is?
Picture Shw
Shw a picture abut Ya Ming.
T: I’ll shw yu a pht. Lk, wh’s he?
S: Ya Ming.(a very famus basketball player)
T: Yes, yu are right. He is Ya Ming.
He is tall and he is strng.(Teach the wrd: strng and the phrase tall and strng.)
T: He has shrt hair.( Teach the phrase: shrt hair)
He has tw small eyes. (S laugh ut)
The teacher put her right hand n her muth make the students quiet. Then shw a picture and teach the wrd. Let the students read the wrd: (quiet.)
And she asked S t pay attentin t prnunciatin f (ie).
Then teacher shw anther picture abut tw lvely girls and guide students t speak ut (friendly).
4.Invitatin Shw
T invite 2 r three students t stand in frnt f the teachers desk and ask thers t describe them.
S1: She is tall and thin. ( Teach the phrase: tall and thin)
S2: He is shrt and strng. ( Teach the phrase: shrt and strng)
Step3: Practice.(3-5minutes)
1.Hide and say
T lay ut sme wrds and phrases t ss and ask them t hide. Then she ask 1-2 students t find them ut with the speaking f thse new wrds and phrases.
2.Describe and act
T ask the students t describe the characteristics f their friends r teachers.Then ask sme grups t act.(Grup in fur. Each grup need t chse tw students. One student t describe and the ther ne need t act it ut)
e.g.
I have an English teacher.
Se is a bit fat. (shrt/tall/thin/tall and strng…)
She has lng hair.
She is strng. (shrt/tall/thin/tall and strng…)

This lessn mainly let students master sme adjectives when they describe peple.I adpt distributed teaching thinking during teaching frm single wrds t phrases.Meanwhile,I use new media technlgy t arise students’ interests f learning and create relaxing atmsphere.In additin t,I design varius games t let them cnslidate what they have learned frm this lessn.
But there exists sme shrtcmings :
Students have few time in reading text.
Single mtivatinal language
All in all,I will keep wrking,learn sme excellent experience and urge me t be an experienced English teacher.
