Period 1 (Section A 1a-2c) 设计说明 本课时为该单元第一课时，主要学习有关职业的词汇和“What do you want to be when you grow up?” “How are you going to do that?”等句式。通过展示多媒体图片，利用“直观教学法”学习生词，可以激发学生的学习兴趣，提高课堂效率；通过小组问答，讨论他们未来理想的职业以及如何实现他们的理想(可创设情境，更好地调动学生的积极性)；听录音、角色扮演等活动让学生在轻松的氛围中学习；通过开展调查问卷活动，培养学生的合作意识。 教学目标 1. 知识目标： (1)掌握单词和短语：cook，doctor，engineer，violinist，driver，pilot，pianist，scientist，grow up，computer programmer。 (2)掌握句式：“—What do you want to be when you grow up? —I want to be a basketball player.” “—How are you going to do that? —I’m going to practice basketball every day.” 。 2. 能力目标： (1)能够利用目标句型谈论自己理想的职业和如何实现自己的理想。 (2)用be going to结构表达将要做的事情。 3. 情感目标：通过对人生理想的讨论，引发学生对自己的未来和理想的思考，并为实现自己的理想而努力奋斗。 重点难点 1. 重点： (1)利用所学单词和句型谈论自己理想的职业。 (2)学习本课时出现的重点句式，通过在不同情境下的运用来熟练掌握be going to结构。 2. 难点：用be going to结构表达自己的打算，谈论自己未来的职业及为实现这个理想而采取的措施。 教学准备 多媒体课件、录音机和磁带，一些有关职业的图片，调查表格。 教学过程 Step 1　Revision & Warming up 1. Talk freely. Ask students to talk about their family members’ jobs in pairs. For example： T：What is your mother? S1：She is a teacher. T：What does your father do? S1：He is a teacher，too.
