    On Christmas Eve, Granny tk a seat by the fire as we put up the Christmas tree. I hung mst f the 6.__________ (decrate) n the branches.
    “That’s the mst beautiful tree I’ve ever seen,” Granny said.
    Then she started singing, “Oh, Christmas tree, h, Christmas tree, yu fill my heart with music ...”
    Befre bed, Granny and I left a plate f sugar biscuits ut fr Father Christmas, and put a stcking at the end f my bed. I remember Granny sitting n my bed and singing sftly until I fell asleep.
    My stcking was full f small tys and sweets n Christmas mrning, and there were presents under the tree. I was n my best 7.________ (behave) as we pened the presents. Later, Granny called me ver.
    “I have smething special fr yu,” Granny whispered, “It’s fr all yur treasures. Merry Christmas.”
    It was a music bx with a ballet dancer inside.
    After breakfast, Auntie Kath and my cusin David arrived. While Mum, Dad and Auntie Kath gt lunch ready, David and I played utside. We raced arund the garden and rlled a big snwball t make a lvely snwman. Granny stayed inside by the fire. I remember 8._______ (catch) her eye thrugh the windw.
