They detailed what Dad referred t as “the week that was”—a day-by-day descriptin f my father's life.(它们详细描述了父亲所说的“那一周”——对父亲生活的一天又一天的描述。)
And I never fully understd why my dad wuld always ask if I'd received the letter when we spke.(我从来不能完全理解为什么我父亲总是在我们谈话的时候问我是否收到了信。) But nw, as I pen my first fficial letters t my wn sns Jacksn and Cassius, it all seems clear.(但现在,当我给我自己的儿子杰克逊和卡修斯写第一封正式信件时,一切似乎都清楚了。)

根据第三段中my bk has a fantastic cver which makes peple want t lk inside(我的书有一个很好的封面,让人想往里面看)可知,ThePurpleRing吸引人们的眼球的是它的封面,故选B项。 Althugh I've gt an unusual name which peple might remember, nbdy knws it yet!
The nly thing is that because bkshps put them in the children sectin, lts f teenagers wn't find them s they may nt sell very well.(唯一的问题是,因为书店把它们放在儿童区,很多青少年找不到它们,所以它们可能卖得不好。)
Teenagers have their wn TV channels, websites and magazines.S what abut bks?
Chse the right time t talk t yur parents.(选择适当的时间跟父母谈谈。)及空前it's best if yu stay away (if pssible) during yur parents' fight(父母吵架时,最好尽可能远离)可知,作者建议在父母争吵的时候不要去打扰添乱,等到他们冷静下来。
根据下文 it can be a gd idea t let them knw what yu think abut the situatin(让他们知道你对这种状况的看法是个好主意)可知,作者建议告诉父母你内心的看法。 C项和后文even if what yu think is that yu are ttally cnfused中有复现短语what yu think。
If yu're nt sure whether r nt yu shuld talk t yur parents, if yu're nt sure what yu shuld say t them when yu d talk t them, r if yu've talked t them but nthing has changed, yu shuld try t find a trusted adult t talk t.

    Paragraph1:Apprachingthedrway,Jennytkadeepbreath.
    Paragraph2:Agentletuchnherhaircalledhermindback.
