    Period 1 (Section A 1a-2c)设计说明在英文歌的引导下进入比较级的学习,既能活跃气氛,又能引起学生的学习兴趣。教学过程中,首先充分利用真实的情景和图片的直观效果创设情境,集中教单词、语法——比较级的用法,从而让学生学会使用比较级来谈论人物。然后,通过看图回答问题、听力训练、自由交谈,充分操练本课时重点句型。教学目标1. 知识目标:(1)掌握单词:outgoing,both,better,loudly,quietly,hard-working。(2)掌握句型:Sam has longer hair than Tom. Both Sam and Tom can play the drums,but Sam plays them better than Tom. Tina is taller than Tara. Tara works as hard as Tina. 。(3)掌握语法:形容词、副词比较级的构成。2. 能力目标:能用比较级对人物的外貌和性格特征进行比较。3. 情感目标:通过比较,正确认识自己及他人的优缺点,平等待人。重点难点1. 重点:(1)形容词、副词比较级的构成。(2)表示两者进行比较的句式结构。2. 难点:形容词比较级的变化。教学准备教具:多媒体课件,录音机,磁带。教学过程Step 1 Warming up & Leading in1. Play the song “Good,Better,Best”. 2. Free talk. (1)T:Do you have a good friend? Ss:Yes. T:What’s he/she like? S1:She is kind. S2:He is active. S3:She is quiet. ...(2)What does he/she look like? S1:He is strong. S2:She is very thin. ...Step 2 Practice1. Ask one of the students to stand up. Then ask the others some questions. T:Who is she? Ss:She is...T:What’s she like? S1:She is friendly. S2:She is active. S3:She is outgoing. Teach the new words:outgoing,both,better,loudly,quietly,hard-working. (板书新单词)2. Work on 1a. T:Now look at the words in the box in 1a. Match each word with its opposite. Check the answers. Answers:tall—short thin—heavy long hair—short hair quietly—loudlyStep 3 Presentation1. Ask students to compare with their partners and find out the differences. e. g. ①She is heavier than me. ②I am more outgoing than her. ③She gets up earlier than me. ④I run faster than her. Teach comparative forms of adjectives and adverbs. 2. Cooperative inquiryDiscuss the following grammar and fill in the blanks. 形容词和副词比较级的构成(1)规则变化①单音节词和部分双音节词一般在词尾加er。small→smaller cold→colder high→higher short→shorter②以字母e结尾的词,在词尾加r。cute→cuter large→larger③词尾只有一个辅音字母的重读闭音节词,先双写该辅音字母,再加er。hot→hotter big→bigger wet→wetter④以“辅音字母+y”结尾的双音节词,先变y为i,再加er。friendly→friendlier easy→easierfunny→funnier early→earlier⑤多音节词和部分双音节词在词前加more。beautiful→more beautiful interesting→more interesting loudly→more loudly(2)不规则变化good/well→better bad/badly→worsemany/much→more little→lessfar→farther/further3. Practice the conversation in the picture above. Then make conversations about the other twins. 3. Work on 2a. (1)Ask students to read the words in 2a. (2)Ask students to add-(i)er or more to the words in 2a. (3)Ask students to listen for the first time to get the words. (4)Listen and check the answers. Answers:4. Work on 2b. Listen again. Cooperative inquiry形容词和副词比较级的用法(1)比较级表示两者(人或事物)之间的比较。构成形式多为“主语+谓语+比较级+than+比较对象”。(2)表示两者在某一方面相同时,用“as+原级+as”句型;表示一方在某一方面不及另一方时,用“not as/so+原级+as”句型。6. (1)Work on 2c. Grammar:Comparative forms of adjectives and adverbs. 当堂达标(见导学案“当堂达标”)答案与解析:Ⅰ. 1. tall 句意为“我很矮,但我哥哥很高”。2. heavy 句意为“我妹妹很瘦,但我很胖”。3. long 由“我留着短发”及句中表转折的but可知,“我妹妹留着长发”,故填long。4. loudly 由“我认为在房间里的每个人都能清晰地听见我(唱歌)”可知“我唱得很大声”,故填loudly。5. outgoing 由下句“他喜欢交朋友”说明“他的哥哥保罗很外向”。6. better 由than可知此处应用比较级形式,此处表示萨姆打鼓比汤姆打得好,故填better。7. quietly 由下句中can’t hear her可知“她说得声音很小”,故填quietly。Ⅱ. 1. better 由than可知应用比较级,good的比较级是better。2. higher 由than可知应用比较级,high的比较级是higher。3. more 由than可知应用比较级,many的比较级是more。4. fatter 由than可知应用比较级,fat的比较级是fatter。5. more beautiful,mine 由than可知应用比较级,beautiful的比较级是在其前加more;比较对象是你的花园(your garden)和“我”的花园(my garden=mine),故第二个空填mine。6. hard-working 此处为“as+形容词原级+as”结构。Step 7 HomeworkMake a survey.
