Years ag, scientists used clning techniques t prduce Dlly, the wrld's first clned mammal (哺乳动物).They nw used the same techniques t prduce the mnkeys in China. In animal clning, animals are prduced in a lab by using DNA that is taken frm the cells f a naturallybrn animal.T clne Zhngzhng and Huahua, scientists frm the Chinese Academy f Sciences first remved the nucleus (细胞核) frm a mnkey's egg cell.They then put anther nucleus taken frm the mnkey's bdy cells int the egg cell.The newlyfrmed egg was put int the wmb (子宫) f a female mnkey.Finally, Zhngzhng and Huahua were brn.
The clning prcess is hard, especially remving the nucleus.It needs t be dne in a fast and precise (精确的) way.The faster yu d it, the less damage is dne t the egg, accrding t CAS.Scientist Liu Zhen spent three years practising remving the nucleus.
